WTSC always attaches great importance to team spirit, therefore, in order to enhance the friendship between swimmers and understand their level of swimming, the annual swimming gala is held every year. This year, the gala was held on 24 Jun at Tai Wan Shan Swimming Pool, Hung Hom. There were total 483 members were signed up in the competition and total 35 new records and 1 new event records were created by 28 swimmers. Lai Kwan Yuet and Chan Lok Yan were 2 brilliant swimmers of the gala as they both created 3 records separately, we are looking forward to their performance in open competitions.
The most-watched event must be the 4 x 50M freestyle stairstep relay of different districts, for the AM session (Age 5 - 9), the winner of boys was "La Salle" district, the time was 2:42.43, and winner of girls was "Telford / Fukien" district, the time was 2:47.51; for the PM session (Age 10 - 15), the winners of both boys and girls were "Pui Ching" district, the time was 1:59.26 and 1:59.37 separately.
