Every year, Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China ("SF&OC") organizes the "HK Sports Star Awards" to encourage Hong Kong athletes and teams to strive for excellence, provide role models and inspiration for Hong Kong young people, thus help to promote sports development in Hong Kong and the community’s involvement in sports to further promote the sport culture in Hong Kong.

This year, Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association ("HKASA") nominates our member Chan Kin Lok in "HK Most Promising Sports Star Awards" and Ho Nam Wai in "HK Junior Sports Star Awards". According to the mechanism, the "HK Most Promising Sports Star Awards" nominees will be voted by the Judging Panel only (no public voting), and the "HK Junior Sports Star Awards" nominees will be voted by three parties, Judging Panel (60%),  Local sports editors/reporters (20%) and the Public (20%). The public voting period starting from 20 Jan to 14 Feb, and the presentation ceremony will be held on 27 Mar at HK Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai.
