The "30th Annual Dinner & Award Presentation Ceremony" was held on March 3 at the Palace Restaurant in Jordan. The dinner was honour to invite the head coach and coaches of the Hong Kong Sports Institute Swimming Team, the Chairman of the Chinese Taipei Swimming Association and the coaches, attended the ceremony and presented a number of swimmer awards to make the dinner party shine.

In 2018, it was the year of big swimming competitions. Among them, our swimmers had gorgeous performances, including 7 swimmers (Sze Hang Yu, Chan Kin Lok, Ip Rainbow, Ho Nam Wai, Ng Chun Nam, Mok Kai Dik, Ho Tin Long) were selected to represent Hong Kong In the Asian Games, and picked up 1 silver 2 bronze medals; also Ho Nam Wai, Mok Kai Dik was selected to play the Youth Olympic Games; Sze Hang Yu, Chan Kin Lok, Ho Nam Wai played in the World Championships (25M) and won the best results in the past years, etc. In order to encourage swimmers to work hard and challenge to a higher level, we presented a number of swimmer awards and scholarships at the dinner, which made the swimmers excited.

Except the hard work of giving training to swimmers, our coaches also showed their talent in other aspect. Our coaches, Lei Xi, Yu Ho Chi, Lee Chi Hang, Lam Hin Hung, Kwong Hang Ching and Chan Long Yin specially prepared a drum performance for this dinner. All the swimmers came to the stage watching the amazing show of the coaches and the dinner atmosphere was brought to the peak.
